Equipment finance CEO Lytle steps down

The $12 million-revenue Equipment Leasing & Finance Association (ELFA) announced their president and CEO Leigh Lytle’s departure, occurring later this year at the end of her contract.

Before joining ELFA, Lytle served as the head of North American policy at software development company Plaid. She also served as the chair of the board of directors of the Financial Technology Association (FTA). Lytle also spent more than 15 years in the Federal Reserve Bank system in various leadership roles.

“Under Leigh’s leadership, ELFA achieved historic advocacy victories, expanded its influence and visibility, strengthened member engagement, modernized its infrastructure and operations, and positioned the association for long-term success,” said Deb Baker, chair of the ELFA board of directors."

The ELFA board of directors has begun succession planning.

Seasoned executive Kumar to lead scientific society

The $13 million-revenue International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) has appointed Dr. Vishakha K. Kumar, its new executive director/CEO, effective July 27.

Dr. Kumar brings more than 15 years of executive leadership experience to the role. Kumar most recently served as vice president for the Department of Research and Quality at the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). 

“Dr. Kumar’s exceptional leadership experience, strategic vision, and deep understanding of the global scientific association landscape make her the ideal leader,” said ISTH president Wolfram Ruf. 

Kumar was chosen by an international executive search committee. She succeeds Thomas Reiser, who led ISTH for more than a decade, and Louise St. Germain, who served as interim executive director.

National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies – Maggie Seidel has joined the $24 million-revenue National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies as senior vice president of strategic communications. She was previously chief growth officer at insurance company Finseca.

National Alliance for Care at Home – Denis Fleming Jr. is joining the $10 million-revenue National Alliance for Care at Home as chief government affairs officer. He was most recently vice president of federal government affairs at hospital and healthcare organization UnitedHealth Group and was previously chief of staff to former Rep. Ben Chandler (D-Ky.)

American Society of Civil Engineers – Bradley Wilder is joining $53 million-revenue ASCE. He most recently served as senior director of technical advancement at the Association for Materials Protection and Performance.  

Renewable Fuels Association — Maddie Jenks has joined the $9 million-revenue Renewable Fuels Association as director of regulatory affairs. She most recently served as a senior government affairs specialist for retail company Pilot Flying J.

Data Center Coalition — Jess Heck is joining the Data Center Coalition as director of Texas government affairs. She was previously director of governmental affairs at the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
