Who It’s For
The Association CCO Roundtable brings senior association communications leaders together in a confidential, member-driven forum where they can share candid insight, compare strategies, and work through real-world challenges with peers who understand the role firsthand.
Through quarterly in-person meetings, members gain a practical perspective, stronger professional connections, and an ongoing exchange of ideas they can apply immediately in their organizations.
About the Group
For senior communications leaders, some of the most important decisions cannot be made in isolation. The best guidance often comes from peers who have faced similar pressures, tested different approaches, and can offer practical perspective in a confidential setting.
The Association CCO Roundtable was created to make those conversations possible. This curated cohort of senior communications executives gives members a trusted environment to share best practices, benchmark ideas, pressure-test decisions, and learn from one another’s experience.
More than a networking group, the Roundtable is an ongoing peer community for leaders responsible for communications strategy, reputation, advocacy, and member engagement.

FAQs
The roundtable is designed for chief communications officers and equivalent senior communications leaders at larger or more complex associations who own overall communications strategy and execution.
Members meet quarterly in the Washington, DC metro area for in-person, facilitated discussions focused on CCO-level communications and reputation challenges.
Meetings feature member-driven conversations on brand and reputation, crisis and issues management, media and public affairs strategy, internal communications, and best practices for engaging members, boards, and external stakeholders.
Participation is intentionally limited, so conversations remain candid, focused, and relevant, and so members have the chance to build strong, ongoing relationships with their peers.
Members gain a confidential peer network, regular in-person roundtable meetings, a facilitated forum for testing ideas, and access to CEO Update content, insights, and select events that support better communications decision-making.
If you serve as the CCO or hold similar responsibilities for communications, brand, and reputation at a larger association, and you’re looking for a peer group of true counterparts, you are likely a strong fit.
Complete a brief interest or application form (or contact the CEO Update team) to share details about your role and organization; a staff member will follow up to confirm fit and discuss next steps.
