Former ATA lobbyist to succeed Bill Graves, who is retiring after leading group for 13 years Spear The American Trucking Associations has appointed former lobbyist Chris Spear as its next president and CEO, effective July 9. He will replace Bill Graves, who is retiring after having led the $48 million-revenue association for 13 years.
