The American Red Cross has lured another senior official from the Internal Revenue Service into its ranks; acting Internal Revenue Commissioner Kevin M. Brown will join the charity on Sept. 10 as chief operations officer. Brown’s move will reunite him with former IRS Commissioner Mark Everson, who joined the $3.9 billion Red Cross as chief executive officer in April.
