Paul Pomerantz will step down as worldwide executive director of the Drug Information Association to become CEO of the $36 million-revenue American Society of Anesthesiologists in Park Ridge, Ill., effective March 13. Pomerantz has led DIA—a $29 million-revenue association headquartered in Horsham, Pa.—since 2009, having previously been the chief executive of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
