Subway Franchisee group taps CEO Illya Berecsz was promoted to executive director of the North American Association of Subway Franchisees, filling the role left vacant after Jim Hansen’s departure in March. Berecsz now leads the association of Subway sandwich shop franchise-owning members and its two-person staff. She was previously the director of communications and public relations for NAASF. The association represents approximately 5,600 members who operate about 15,200 restaurants and is independent of the Subway corporation.
