More groups doing thoughtful CEO succession planning

Patrick Culkin had a desire to grow his association leadership capabilities to the point where he could be a strong candidate for CEO. He found a willing ear in his boss Jim Kaitz, outgoing CEO of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), who told CEO Update he believes strongly in grooming potential internal successors.It worked.
