Smith Aug. 9, 2019 The Association Management Center is tapping one of its longtime executives to be CEO, the first person outside the Engle family to take on such a prominent role. Steve Smith, currently CEO of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, an AMC client association, will step into the top executive job at the company April 1, 2020. Smith is also vice president of client relations and a member of AMC's leadership team.
