Mark W. Light was promoted to executive director of the $10 million revenue International Association of Fire Chiefs on May 20. The appointment of Light, IAFC’s former deputy director, ends a search started in February. Korn/Ferry International conducted the search after former executive director, Garry Briese resigned to take a job in the private sector in November 2006.
