A large commercial center south of Washington, D.C., is promoting itself as a hub for associations looking for an alternative to the D.C. and Alexandria, Va., markets. National Harbor is a 300-acre mixed-use development in Prince George’s County, Md., located on the Potomac River bank opposite Old Town Alexandria.
