A federal judge has ruled that San Francisco can require cell phone retailers to warn customers about alleged radiation dangers, but only if the city plays up the uncertainty concerning cancer risks, handing CTIA-The Wireless Association a mixed victory in its nearly two-year fight with the city over the issue. San Francisco leaders passed a “Cell Phone Right-to-Know” ordinance in 2010 requiring retailers who sell mobile phones to post warnings about cell phone radiation.
