The Conference Board selected Jonathan Spector as president and CEO this week from a candidate pool numbering 250. Spector spent 20 years with the consulting firm McKinsey & Company, founding and managing the company’s Taiwan office and ascending to the role of director in 1992. Spector, who will join the organization April 16, shares an academic administration background with his predecessor Richard Cavanagh, who joined the research organization in 1995 after eight years as executive dean of the John F.
