After nearly 14 years of efforts to diversify staff in Chicago-area associations, little progress has been made. “To say the least, after doing a critical analysis, we were disappointed in our lack of diversity,” said Gary LaBranche, president and CEO of the Association Forum of Chicagoland. “Our data still showed that more than 95 percent of our 4,000 members were Caucasian,” he said.
