Departures Leiber Lieber to exit HIMSS Steve Lieber will retire from his role as president and CEO of the $88M-revenue Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society at the end of 2017. Lieber has led the Chicago-based HIMSS since 2000. He previously was VP, division of personal membership groups at the American Hospital Association and, before that, executive director of the Emergency Nurses Association for nine years. He has a master's degree in social service administration from the University of Chicago. HIMSS has retained recruitment firm Egon Zehnder to assist in the search for Lieber's successor.
