Associations blast proposed greenhouse gas regulations The Edison Electric Institute came out swinging Monday against proposed Environmental Protection Agency rules that would limit greenhouse gas emissions from power plants. In a statement, EEI CEO Tom Kuhn said the agency's plan doesn't give states enough time to comply with the stricter standards. The result could be higher prices for customers.
