Wayman Jack Wayman, father of the Consumer Electronics Association, died Aug. 30 at 92, the group announced. Wayman also founded the International Consumer Electronics Show, now the world's largest technology convention. Though Wayman never led CEA, the group grew from a Wayman-run division of the Electronics Industry Association, the Consumer Electronics Group, which decades ago represented U.S. radio, phonograph and television manufacturers.
