Government Relations The American Medical Association recently named Cynthia Brown vice president of government affairs. In her new position, she will oversee the organization’s divisions of congressional affairs, federal affairs and legislative counsel. Brown comes to the AMA from the American College of Surgeons where she spent the past 20 years, most recently as director of the ACS division of advocacy and health policy.
