Government Relations Thomas M. Susman will join the American Bar Association as director, government affairs, effective May 5, 2008. Susman comes to ABA after 27 years working in the legislative and regulatory practice with the law firm Ropes & Gray. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray in 1981, Susman worked on Capitol Hill for more than 11 years.
