Christine M. Shott joins the $37 million revenue National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) as vice president of media relations, beginning July 9. She comes to NACDS from the National Restaurant Association, where she was director of media relations. Shott is the second recent hire to the NACDS media staff to come from NRA since Steve Anderson took the helm earlier this year. Anderson led NRA for seven years before coming to NACDS. In revamping his media team, Anderson also recruited away former NRA employee Christopher P. Krese last month, hiring him as the senior vice president of the communications department.
