Robinson Departures Robinson to leave AACTE in 2017 Sharon Robinson will retire as CEO of the $7M-revenue American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education in July 2017. Robinson has led AACTE since 2005. She previously was president of the Educational Policy Leadership Institute at the Educational Testing Service, a nonprofit testing and assessment organization. Before that, she was assistant secretary of education at the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Educational Research and Improvement.
