King CEO Departures Remley exits American Academy of Pediatrics Karen Remley has stepped down as CEO/EVP of the $121M-revenue American Academy of Pediatrics following the expiration of her three-year contract, the Itasca, Ill.-based organization recently announced. Remley joined AAP in July 2015. She previously was chief medical director of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Virginia. Before that, she was commissioner of health for the state of Virginia.
