DeHaven Departures Veterinary association head to retire Ron DeHaven, CEO of the $38M-revenue American Veterinary Medical Association, will retire later this year. DeHaven joined the Schaumburg, Ill.-based association in 2007. He previously was administrator of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
