Harris CEO Departures Kirch to leave AAMC Darrell Kirch will step down as CEO of the $177M-revenue Association of American Medical Colleges on June 30. Kirch has led AAMC since 2006. He previously was SVP for health affairs, dean of the college of medicine, and CEO of the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at Pennsylvania State University. He also was chair-elect of AAMC's board of directors when he was selected to lead the association. Earlier in his career, Kirch was acting scientific director of the National Institute of Mental Health and dean of the Medical College of Georgia.
