Rick Pollack has worked at group for 32 years; replaces retiring CEO Rich Umbdenstock Pollack The American Hospital Association has promoted its top lobbyist, Rick Pollack, to president and CEO, effective September. He will replace Rich Umbdenstock, who is retiring. Pollack, 59, currently is executive vice president of advocacy and public policy at the $124 million-revenue association.
