Julian Ha has lived, studied and worked all around the world—London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York, Paris—in a multifaceted career that has included corporate law, running start-up businesses and venture capitalism.
But he says he’s never worked harder than he is working now as an executive recruiter. Ha is the trade association and government affairs practice leader for Heidrick & Struggles, based in its Washington, D.C., office. He joined the firm in 2006.
It’s work that the 45-year-old loves.
“It is a demanding profession,” he told CEO Update in an interview at the firm’s 20th and Pennsylvania NW office.
