Exit Interview: Jula Kinnaird

After six years as the head of the National Grain Trade Council, last year Jula Kinnaird led a restructuring and expansion of the small but politically influential group. This year the association emerged as the Commodity Markets Council, poised to advocate not only for the grain industry but for other commodities and energy as well.  With the restructure behind her, next month Kinnaird will leave the CMC to launch her own association management consulting company. Kinnaird spoke with CEO Update about the future of the CMC, her leadership challenges and starting a business in the association arena.
