Wolf named CEO of medical information technology group

Former HIMSS board member to succeed H. Stephen Lieber, who has led Chicago-based professional society since 2000

Hal Wolf has been appointed the next CEO of the $88 million-revenue Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, the Chicago-based professional society announced. He will succeed Steve Lieber, who will retire at year’s end.

Wolf currently is director, national leader of information and digital health strategy, at The Chartis Group, a Denver-based health care management consulting firm. He also is former vice chair of HIMSS’ board of directors.
