Reimagining and rightsizing the office

Associations that didn’t have remote-work policies before the pandemic—or had informal policies—are developing robust policies now, said Mindy Saffer, managing principal at the real estate firm Cresa. Although there’s no one-size-fits-all solution, many associations will allow greater flexibility for employees regarding the days and times they are at the office.

“Every association is going to have to evaluate how they operate, what their employees are looking to do, and then create a space plan that supports that,” she said.
