Industry employers regularly contact the ATM Industry Association when they’re looking to hire new workers, and members looking for a job frequently contact the association for leads. Association staff routinely had been passing along information for both sides. Last year, leaders decided to make this matchmaking more official.
In September 2018, ATMIA launched its online career center, a place where industry workers can search for new opportunities and employers can post job ads for a fee.
“We’re always looking for better ways to monetize our website,” said David Tente, executive director, USA & Americas. “Some of the major manufacturers have internal websites but there’s no career site for the industry as a whole. We thought it would be good for ATMIA to do it as a representative of the industry.”
