Compensation for chief executives in midsize associations continues its robust climb.

The latest tax disclosures show CEOs of midsize groups saw their pay increase 4.3 percent and median paycheck climb to $328,566.

In this installment of Inside Compensation, CEO Update researchers analyzed chief executive pay from the latest tax year documents—2016 and 2017—in 438 national or U.S-based international associations with reported revenue between $5 million and $12 million.

That median 4.3 percent increase marks an eight-year high for CEO pay increases for groups in this revenue category, and paychecks for more than one in five CEOs rose by more than 10 percent.
