An association for pharmaceutical distributors has tapped as its next chief executive a veteran of trade groups representing drug manufacturers.
The $18 million-revenue Healthcare Distribution Alliance announced Feb. 10 that it hired Chip Davis, current CEO of the $25-million Association of Accessible Medicines, a Washington, D.C.-based group representing generic drug makers. He will join the Arlington, Va.-based HDA in March, succeeding John Gray, who is stepping down after having led the association for nearly 16 years.
