Auto Alliance CEO is expanding traditional industry community to include trade groups for tech and wireless

As CEO of two trade groups in very different sectors, Mitch Bainwol has seen both sides of the disruptive power of technology. He confronted digital piracy at the Recording Industry Association of America, but music sales still plummeted as Internet file sharing and streaming boomed.

Now, at the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers since 2011, Bainwol works to drive change even faster. Part of that effort is reaching out and forming new alliances with technology groups.
