Fabsik-Swarts joins employees assistance pros
The Employee Assistance Professionals Association has appointed Julie Fabsik-Swarts CEO, effective Sept. 15. She succeeds Greg DeLapp, who has been CEO since 2016 and will retire in early October “after a planned CEO transition,” according to the group. EAPA is based in Arlington, Va. and reported revenue of $1.3M in fiscal 2020.
“Julie is the right leader for EAPA at a time when the EAP industry is rapidly evolving to meet the needs of the ever-changing business landscape,” Kristin Rantala, the association’s president, said in a statement. “She has a deep understanding of all the elements that go into making an association operate efficiently, execute its mission effectively, grow its membership and increase its revenue base.”
