Nelson departs court reporters group
Mike Nelson has stepped down as CEO of the $10M-revenue National Court Reporters Association in Reston, Va. In an email, Nelson said he decided to “recalibrate my life's priorities in order to spend more time with family and celebrate the arrival of our long-awaited granddaughter.”
Nelson joined NCRA in 2015. At the time, he was the association’s third CEO in three years, having succeeded Jim Cudahy. Nelson previously was EVP of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and COO of the Society of Nuclear Medicine.
Dave Wenhold, president of Miller/Wenhold Capitol Strategies and the association’s Washington counsel, has been named interim executive director and CEO.
Funk to leave RSPA
Kelly Funk is stepping down as president and CEO of the $3M-revenue Retail Solutions Providers Association in Charlotte, N.C. She has led the group since April 2014.
