Question: How long should my resume be?

I am regularly asked this question by candidates, as they have been told throughout their careers that resumes should not be any longer than one page. Your resume should be long enough to tell the story of your career in reverse chronological order—no longer than one page for every 10 years of work experience. It should include an executive summary, your work-related responsibilities and accomplishments and your educational credentials.
