Question: How can people, such as assistant vice presidents and directors, make the jump to VP-level and above positions?
If you want to be promoted, you need to do two things: First, do great work. Second, demonstrate that you are already doing key aspects of the next role that you are seeking. It’s important that you consistently exceed expectations in the work that you do and demonstrate that you are already taking on challenges and projects to show that you have the skills and motivation to take the next step within your organization.
