It may not be “Sweet Home Chicago” for everybody, but it is for many association executives. ASAE is expecting the highest attendance at its Aug. 18-21 Annual Meeting & Exposition since 2007, the last time Chicago hosted the event.
More than a few things have changed since then. For one thing, Chicago has made the immediate vicinity of McCormick Place more livable with another hotel, the JW Marriott (attached to the facility), and more restaurants.
The meeting experience also has evolved, but the structure is similar to the last three years, said Chief Learning Officer Rhonda Payne.
Educational sessions will be organized into five tracks, one each for young professionals, chief executives, senior executives, attendees interested in global issues and those who work for health-related associations.
Attendees can search ASAE’s website and the meeting app for results matching each track.
