These days, many if not most association CEOs can make a relatively safe assumption about their careers.
“You are going to be fired at some point,” says Brian Vogel, a compensation expert and senior principal at Quatt Associates consultancy. (Vogel spoke at a CEO Update Live forum, “Executive Compensation in Associations and Nonprofits,” held Dec. 3 at the SunTrust headquarters building in downtown Washington, D.C.).
