Some job interviews leave candidates wanting to crawl under a table, but most dont act on that impulse. Recruiter Wendy Pangburn once interviewed someone who did.
Pangburn, president of Pangburn Partners, said she was interviewing a job candidate a few years ago when the persons cell phone started ringing. The individual promptly pulled out the phone and then slunk under a nearby table to answer it.
It wasn't even excuse me, she said. They just said I got to take a call, and then crawled under the table like I wouldnt notice.
